National Family Medation Free Mediation

National Family Mediation offers high-quality family mediation and support services to all families affected by relationship breakdown, divorce or separation. NFM Mediators are trained to the highest standards and will help parents reach joint decisions about issues associated with separation.

On 03 November 2014 new opportunities for separated families to resolve their conflicts were made available when the government introduced a free mediation session. This means that if one person is eligible for legal aid the other person can also benefit from the mediation for free.
